We would like to raise awareness about the increasing incidents of tailgating, particularly in communal blocks and residential areas.
It has come to our attention that this situation may lead to unauthorized individuals, such as drug users and rough sleepers, taking advantage of parking areas, bin storage, and bicycle storage to conceal themselves.
To enhance safety, please do not allow entry or open main doors without verifying through the intercom. If someone follows you, do not hesitate to request their identification.
Additionally, we encourage you to register with the Met Engage community crime-fighting initiative, which facilitates connection with local neighbourhood policing in a confidential manner.
